During installation, the DeepFactor management portal creates and installs a self-signed SSL certificate and certificate authority (CA). The certificates are stored in /opt/deepfactor/etc on the portal VM/machine as follows:
-
/opt/deepfactor/etc/portal.crt - the management portal’s public SSL certificate
-
/opt/deepfactor/etc/portal.key - the management portal’s private SSL certificate key
-
/opt/deepfactor/etc/portalca.crt - the management portal’s public CA SSL certificate
These files may be changed after installation if desired. Replace the files with the appropriate versions from your environment (eg, from your SSL certificate administrator) and reboot the management portal for these changes to take effect.
Note: The portal SSL certificate must be signed by the corresponding CA whose SSL certificate is installed in /opt/deepfactor/etc/portalca.crt .
